Eric's Paint Job

Honest it happened in one day.

The Range Rover wasn't even cleaned out when we started.
Needs a bit of welding before the re-paint though.

body shell cut out

floor (underside) It all started on the N.Y.S. Thruway. At a toll both. Eric reached down into his pocket for some change. Bracing his foot on the floor, lifting to reach far down into the pocket for change, as you do, and crunch his foot went through the floor.

Ya-ba-da-ba-do!

a Flintstone Mobile

Careful examination revealed some very crusty foot boxes and floor sills.

floor (drivers) Along the way, you find out various things about your motor, especially once you really get into it. This '89 Range Rover had some stories to tell of its checquered past. There was no rust forward of the firewall - an indication that the whole front clip had been replaced - which was verified by someone familliar with some of the vehicle's past. We know it had r c pillar base lived on the Cape, and from the rust pattern, we could even guess that it might have been parked consistantly with one side exposed to the prevailing wind - as noted by much heavier rust on the pillar bases and foot wells than on the other.
