CKDs: Yes! They still exist.

Rumours that Riston will own a Series are true. However, we think it will look and behave a lot like his Range Rover, 'the Crab', when it is ''done''. After building the ultimate off-road Range Rover, Eric has decided he wants a play vehicle, so breaking the first rule of gearhead obsession: never buy a beater of the same make as your pride and joy, he is acquiring an 88".

Yes, Complete Knock-Down kits do still exist, Eric's start for this project vehicle is one which is nearly completely disassembled. Watch these pages for the progress of this re-assembly project. (But don't hold your breath.) Empire will hold a pool for bets on when the vehicle will first be on the road, taxed, titled and insured.
